The Tigers faced Novinger in their first round game at the Milan Tournament Tuesday. Neither team shot well in the early going, but Novinger started to find the range and ran up a 20-12 lead at halftime. Brashear managed to pull within 3 in the 3rd quarter, and again in the 4th quarter, but faded and lost by a score of 41-33.
